Governance Training for Arts Organisations

We’re a certified social enterprise that can run easy-to-understand, affordable and practical legal training to build your organisation’s governance capacity.

Specialising in providing legal help and support to not-for-profit organisations, we know just how time-consuming and confusing complying with legal obligations can be. And, as a charity and not-for-profit organisation ourselves, we understand the issues you face. That’s why we’re pleased to be a provider for Creative Australia’s Company Director Capability Fund for Organisations.

About our training

Our training can support your arts and cultural organisation to enhance its governance capabilities through tailored in-house training, delivered for your whole board.

We work with our clients to tailor our training to the specific needs of their organisation and use case examples and scenarios that participants will identify with. This helps make the law accessible and easier to understand. It also allows participants to problem-solve and discuss key issues together – with facilitation by a lawyer experienced in governance and how the law applies to not-for-profits.

Our training builds attendees' knowledge and confidence, which means organisations can spend less time navigating legal requirements and more time delivering on purpose.

Our training is supported by a library of free resources you can access at any time. And, as a certified social enterprise, any profits go back into our free legal services for not-for-profits.

What we can offer for this fund

We’ve collated two packages that your organisation could redeem as part of the $6,000 funding from Creative Australia. Contact us today if you’d like to know more.
