Lawyer, Not-for-profit Law

Meet Sophie

Sophie is a Lawyer in Justice Connect’s Not-for-profit Law program, who graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) in 2020 and was admitted to legal practice in early 2024. She stepped into the Lawyer role after over two years as a Paralegal & Legal Administrator in the Not-for-profit Law team. Prior to joining Justice Connect at the start of 2022, Sophie worked in legal support roles in commercial litigation and entertainment & media law.

Outside of legal practice, Sophie has also volunteered with a number of community groups, and served on the management committee of an LGBTIQ+ advocacy organisation. In her current role, Sophie has been able to draw upon these years of volunteering experience to provide legal assistance to not-for-profit organisations nationwide.
