How to Draft a Volunteer Agreement

About this event

A good volunteer agreement makes sure your volunteers understand their role, rights and responsibilities. It helps create and maintain effective relationships with your volunteers – and keep everyone safe.

Whether you’re looking to review existing agreements, or starting from scratch, we can help. This webinar will update you on current best practice for volunteer agreements. We’ll explain why you need one and walk you through some of the key topics your agreement should cover. You’ll walk away with our recently updated template volunteer agreement – to save you time and get the result you need.

We’ll cover:

  • Key reasons for using a volunteer agreement
  • Important issues to cover in your volunteer agreements
  • Why you might use a ‘deed’
  • Guidance about how to use our template agreement

You'll receive:

  • Opportunity to ask questions of the presenter
  • 75 minutes of plain-language training from a lawyer
  • Copy of webinar recording (available for 30 days) and slide presentation
  • Information on further resources and support
