Not-for-profit Law is excited to announce the expansion of the Information Hub to cover laws for all Australian jurisdictions. THe Hub can now help all of the 600,000 AUstralian not-for-profit organisations. There are up-to-date, plain English, tailored resources on the Information Hub for each state and territory, as well as covering federal laws.
The Information Hub design has also been updated to accommodate so many new resources and assist users to find the resources that will help them. A new jurisdiction filter allows organisations to chose one, several or all jurisdictions, and the site is then filtered for the user.
Resources available for all jurisdictions now include:
- Choosing a legal structure
- Comparing incorporated associations and companies limited by guarantee
- Incorporating and incorporated association
- Members rights
- Changing rules for incorporated associations, and
- Changing legal structure.
These tailored resources are in addition to the 50 resources that cover federal laws that are relevant to community groups across Australia.
Coming soon are tailored resources on:
- Fundraising, and
- Work Health and Safety.
