Free legal help for Local Aboriginal Land Councils

Justice Connect’s Not-for-profit Law program runs our Local Aboriginal Land Council (LALC) Service, which provides targeted, practical and culturally appropriate free legal assistance to 120 LALCs across NSW. Contact us by calling 02 9160 7171 or emailing lalcservice@justiceconnect.org.au.

Free legal resources

We have developed customised legal information resources for LALCs, including fact sheets and tool kits on governance, employment, insurance and contracts. We also have over 300 online legal resources if you have legal questions on another topic. You can use them whenever you need them – all for free.
