Your rules, or constitution, are key to a well-governed organisation.

Rules set out what you need to do to comply with the law. In this session you’ll learn about:

  • Clauses that most rules contain
  • Meaning of ‘quorum’, ‘proxy’ and ‘poll’
  • Topics that rules must cover
  • Changing rules legally, when and how
  • Model Rules and other rule templates

We’ll also give you top tips and additional resources to help you in the future.

Please bring along a copy of your organisation’s rules to this session.
